About me

​      Ismael Izaguirre was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1998. Izzy's journey into art started in high school art classes, which furthered his ambition through printmaking studies at Midwestern State University. He received his Bachelors in Fine Art with an emphasis in Printmaking and a minor emphasis in Graphic Design in 2020. Since undergraduate studies, he has volunteered for multiple art conferences such as the Southern Graphics International Conference (SGCI) and National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts(NCECA). He primarily works in relief printmaking, serigraphy, and intaglio forms of printmaking as well as illustration.
     Currently, Izzy resides in Corpus Christi, working on fulfilling his candidacy for Master of Fine Art at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
